Summer Vibes

It is raining cats and dogs outside. Day two of rainy mood. At moments like this one wish is to remind ourselves that it is still summer and cloudy weather is not permanent. Sun will come back to us very soon and it will be hot and positive. So, while waiting, we can enjoy some moments of summer

Winter Tale

This year winter has come late to us. Either it is a compensation for a cold summer or some joke of Mother Nature. We were celebrating New Year almost without snow, with mud and melted snow under feet.
Nevertheless, winter has come to us at last. It became colder, it snowed hard. Snow covered everything around and turned familiar world to fairy tale. It is obvious that drivers and city utilities were not happy about these heavy snow flurry because the first ones stuck in traffic jams and the second ones had to shovel snow away from roads and pavements. But pedestrians could slow down and enjoy the beauties of winter.

Virgin Russia

On the 20th of January Moscow met the Fourth Fesival "Virgin Russia". This event includes the exhibition of photos, workshops, meetings with workers and representatives of nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries and photographers whose works were represented. So the program is wide nd rich enough.

Being a great amateur of wildlife photography I visited the exhibition with lots of pleasure. All the more so because, as "Virgin Russia" is a possibility to see the most beautiful places of my motherland and things happening there, and creatures living there through the eyes of photographers Sergey Gorshkov, Stanislav Shinkarenko, Toshiji Fukuda, Valeriy Maleev, Dmitriy Arkhipov, Denis Budkov and many others.

I advise you to come to the Central House of Artists on Krimsky Val str. till February, th 26th, if you will visit Moscow.

A Walk to the Autumn

Today I have walked for a couple of hours breathing fresh air and enjoying late autumn. I've taken several photos.

Bycicle Races

I like riding the bycicly not only for free moving and its positive influence on physical condition. It is also pleasant to ride and look around. So it happened this time when I went travelling on my bike and passed by the field of blooming lupines. I couldn't miss such fantastic beauty so I am sharing photos.

Dogs That Cure

We, people, have been living together with animals for a very long period of our history. Many of us have dogs, cats, birds and other animals of different kinds and size at home. Undoubtedly animals give us many things they were domesticated for. But emotionally positive part of our communication with animals is also important.

This very knowledge of positive influence on humans was added to armoury by Charity Fund "P.E.T.". Volunteers of P.E.T. take simple domestic dogs and make them real therapy dogs which then visit hospices, homes for elderly people, board and care facilities, orphanages, schools, libraries and do many things to make life of patients better.

Besides, all therapists are not common dogs. They are former stray animals and inhabitants of animal shelters which once met their Humans and became fully domestic beloved pets. Thus, P.E.T. Fund pursues two aims - to help people and to show that mongrels are not worce than any other domestic dog. I think, they're doing well!

A week ago I was lucky to have a little shooting with tailed therapists. This shooting was one of many ways to help  project "Dogs of Convenience", which P.E.T. Fund announce on Russian web-site Planeta.ru.

I'd like to say that I extremely love such shootings. Warm spring day, shinung Sun, friendly atmosphere and, of course, dogs bring lots of positive emotions.

This weekend we have a nice weather. Such a typical classic Russian winter. It is sunny, feet crunch snow sparkling in the Sun, bright blue sky, townspeople go on walks with their families, skiers hurrying to the forest...

A Jorney to Christmas

On the 7th of January orthodoxal christians in Russia celebrated Christmas. That day I went to Moscow for a walk. It is worth mentioning that Moscow is decorated with lights. Little stores are opened everywhere trading sweets, souvenirs, presents. Moscovites and tourists can skate on the ice rink opened on Red Square, slide from mountain made of ice on Revolution Square and take part in other entertainments offered in Russian capital city.

Three Charites

Two weeks ago I had a wonderful photosession with three beauties - sisters Julia, Elizaveta and their mother. All three ones are beautiful, graceful and bright. Real Charites.

That warm day became a pleasant addition to my shooting and the golden autumn was a gorgeous decoration for three beauties.
