We are flying on a wing and a prayer

Yesterday I went to Monino (in Moscow region). This little closed military town is famous for its aviation academy named after Yuri Gagarin. Besides, it has the Museum of Russian Air Forces with many planes of different periods of Russian History of the XXth century. The case is that I work as a volunteer in this museum. Almost 5 years ago I became a member of one noncommercial organization of young people who are not indifferent to the state of exhibit items. As a result  the state of planes is much better now that it was six years ago before our voluntary organisation was founded when somebody was ready to pull planes apart for base metals. So, all information about us is available on our web-site www.aviarestorer.ru Now it is only in Russian but I am ready to answer any your question about us as we visit museum every Saturday for voluntary works: we wash planes, we make repair works on planes, we paint planes, wash planes etc We never sit without eork which is very interesting.

Yesterday we also washed some planes as the layer of dust was awful. Above this birds sometimes fly into the hagar ank make their bad things.

The day was nice. Good sunny weather, good mood... We invite you to visit Museum on the 9th of May to celembrate the Victory. A little bit later I'll tell about events of the V-day.

And today in Russia we celebrate Labour's Day. This holiday came from The Soviet Union but still it remains the offitial non-working day whet people go out for walks, picnics, spend time with the families and celebrate the spring.
